Question Copying files through a network.

G'day, how do i copy files to & from another computer from BASH over a network?

I'll try to explain a little better.

I have a SmoothWall server running on another PC, how do i copy a file from SmoothWall to my Mandrake PC from BASH? i don't have SAMBA of anything like that running.

do i go through /eth0 ?

BASH? I assume you are refering to the command line well as far as I know you can't

you are going to have to set up some sort of FTP NFS or samba server on the machines the simplest to set up being FTP
