I am also having this problem. I just installed Mandrake 10.0 Official from Linuxiso.org
When I was installing it I checked off all the servers and when it boots up it says that proftp is running but I cant find where to configure it. I was running 8.1 and in that it was very easy to setup the ftp server. I don't have the problem with the the shutdown option being grayed out though. Any help would be great! thank you
