hey im over at a friends house tryin to get the net up and running, can i get the command line to config my nic card?

nevermind im installing redhat right now... yes i should have said what network we have, but um isnt this a mandrake forum?

Umm, the website is called LinuxQuestions, not Mandrake Questions.

Are you using Wireless Networking, or Regular? What kinda NIC are you using?

Places to start playing are
1. kudzu
2. ifconfig
3. /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
