Compiz worked then it didn't

OK, I started to use compiz and it worked fine. Suddenly later (I changed something but not sure what) it stopped working. When I try to login it just hangs there. I didn't see anything of use in messages or any other log file. If I could just wipe the compiz config and recreate it that would work I think.

Another problem is my OpenGL. I dont think it is working. I have a nVidia GeForce FX 5200 and the nVidia drivers are installed. But still Nothing.

Any ideas?

P.S. this is Mandriva 2007 PowerPack

Did you do a security update at all? On my Debian box, I have to reinstall my Nvidia drivers every time xorg or the kernel is updated, or I lose my acceleration...

OpenGL has never worked. I did do the updates but I'm not sure if that is what broke it. I haven't updated the kernel.

bump...anyone have an idea? Bueller....

If someone could just tell me how to recreate the compiz config I think that would work.
