Klesk go to http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/ maybe here is the answer.Without kernel sources.

I think you can install the kernel source for you modem with this command.
Open up a terminal window.
type su and then the password.
urpmi kernel-source
then it will prompt you to mount your cd and install the kernel source.

I couldn't install my modem yet. But I could install the kernel sources from the installation CD and that was what I was tryin to do. Thank you very much for your help!! (sorry for my bad grammar)
