I've recently changed from RH9 to Slack 8.2 when I heard that RH was starting to charge. I also downloaded Mandrake 9.2 but was unable to install so I installed Slack. I am very disappointed with Slack. I am considering a move to Mandrake, but I have a few questions. First, will I be able to install Mandrake on an intel celeron 486 cpu? Second, if not, is there another distro I could install and then upgrade to the latest release? I can't seem to upgrade to Slack 9.1 and lots of programs won't install and work for that reason. Any help and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have mandrake 9.2 and I think overall its the best distro I've used! And believe me I've tried a whole bunch.
