i read how to change the GNOME LOGIN GREETER, the one which comes up when you want to login. Now i changed it by being root but it doesnt change. i mean i change the settings but when i reboot there is no change.
can i do that from somewhere else??? or any other ideas???
Get a theme and put it in /usr/share/gdm/themes (google for "gdm themes"
Edit /etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf and change the "GraphicalTheme" to the one you installed.
should i extract the tar.gz file to theme folder or just copy as it and write the name to the graphicalTheme line.
and by the way the one i chose from gdmsetup is also written in the config but i still cant see the login theme. i see this mandrake linux default theme.
