That's good, for a while I was freaking out.

But I still beleive what I said earlier, we are fading away from free.

I agree with you. I think most companies making or selling Linux distributions thought they would make a lot of money from support and other services, but obviously this has proved not to be a very viable business model, so yeah, free as in beer is on the way out in some aspects. The good thing though, is that with the GNU project and Linux being opensource projects, others can always carry on working on distros if they ever get abandoned or make changes that may not be favourable to others.
