change bass of my soundcard
 

Hi there,

how do i change the sound and bass levels on my system? I am using Mandrake 10.1 and have root access. I think i've done this before, but i can't figure out how to that anymore. The bass on my system is driving me crazy, i can't hear any music.

You haven't posted your specs.

This is like asking, what color do I paint my house....

eh, choose any anwer, as w/o info any will do.

Many sound cards do NOT feature built in capabilities to alter Bass and Treble settings... so it depends upon your card.

You should

urpmi aumix

After setting up your uprmi sources (see my sig).

Then use Aumix to adjust sound levels then save the configuration.
