Can someone check for me SIS driver


I would like whether mandrake 9.2 support display driver for SIS 650,
if you're running mandrake 9.2, can you check for me?

That video driver is provided through XFree and was written by Thomas Winischhofer. Quoting his website: "There is no DRI/OpenGL (hardware accelerated 3D) support for the SiS 315/65x/74x/66x/760." 2D should work fine however.

2D doesn't work!

Only VESA drivers can make this videochip work. But VESA is too slow.

Does anybody resolved this problem?

Go to http://www.winischhofer.net/ and do exactly what it tells you to do.The driver should work but no 3d and none in sight anytime soon either.
