Unhappy Can i change my menu i don't like that star for the start button can i change it?


i really don't like the star as my start button i want to change it and i have images that i want to change it too and if you need some information i have mandrake linux 10.1 with KDE 3.2 if you have any other questions please just ask me

AFAIR: right-click on star --> properties --> click on icon --> browse for preferred image.

the menu does not have properties on it there is only: move start menu and remove start menu and menu editor and panel menu there that just gos to help and size and to add stuff to the menu but there is no properites on it remember you mit have a different linux then me

Try overwritting /usr/share/icons/crystalsvg/128x128/apps/menuk-mdk.png or ensure the theme you select has something in /usr/share/icons/theme_name/various_sizes_here/apps/menuk-mdk.png if you aren't using the default iconset and just inheriting from it.

I tried that

I over wrote the image just as was posted and it has not yet changed but I can confirm that it did indeed over write. Anyway I got to thinking about it and that is not what I wanted to do anyway.

How about just changing the path to the one that I want or wanted to use?

Sorry if I confused anyone else.
