Can't find gnomeconf.sh

I've searched the forums and google, and I still can't seem to find a solution to this problem. I was trying to compile Mister Proper, a scheduling program, and I keep getting the error that I need gnomeconf.sh, which is created by installing gnome. I have gnome installed, I use gnome. I've tried various solutions found on the internet to no avail. What do I do?

I've searched around for a package on mandriva that provides this file but can't find any. My guess is that Mister Proper was built for an old version of GNOME and isn't compatible with the newer version on the latest Mandriva, considering it hasn't been updated in more than 4 years. Anyway you can google around a bit and see what you can find out about that gnomeConfig.sh file.
