Bootsplash

I am using Suse 9.3 and Mandriva 2006, dual boot with Suse supplying the bootloader. My problem is I can't get Mandriva to boot w/o all the text. I've tried setting it up "silent" in MCC but it doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?

This is my menu list in grub. I tried adding splash=silent to the text above but it didn't work.

Thanks for the reply.

If suse supplies grub, then it is menu.lst in the suse partition you need to edir.

I suggest you edit grub via the command line boot (pressing e) at first
