Blank screen (mdk 9.1)
 

i have just re-installed mdk 9.1 from red hat 8. when it starts up i can see the bott up thingy, but where it should probably come up with the login manager, it come sup with a lbank screen that i am unable to to do anything with. (asus 3dexplorer on a pII) thanx

Once you are at the blank screen, hit Ctrl+Alt+F2 to go to another terminal and use that to show us your /etc/X11/XF86Config file, maybe something got changed in the upgrade.

"nv" does not support digital I/O for the monitor.

my monitor and card have never had prblems before =(
i formatted and tried to install RedHat 9 (Shrike) the other daya nd when anaconda launched all i got was a blue flickering thing on a bout half the screen. ne1 no how to change the refresh rates of anaconda?
when i changed my xf86config file, i coudlnt launch x at all =(
