Well, I didn't find the BT, but what I did find is that if you go to an FTP mirror that has the RPMs for 10.1 CE, you can find an ISO that will allow you to install 10.1 CE over FTP. It might be slow going, but it's what I am trying.

Yes, that is what I was trying to mention as I was running out for more coffee (see above).
If you find a mirror that has the community RPMs, such as:
ftp://mirror.usc.edu

You can download any iso called "boot.iso", from the
/install/images/
directory.

So in the case of the above, go to:
ftp://mirror.usc.edu/pub/linux/distr...nstall/images/

Burn, and boot from, this cd, and select an FTP install. Give it the following address:
ftp://mirror.usc.edu/pub/linux/distr...vel/10.1/i586/

And you should be set.

But please find other mirrors as well.

Thanks for the advive... but i think either the server is down or not accepting new connections...... Do you know of any other servers that would have the boot.iso image as well?

I have downloaded and installed the 10.1 community on my Toshiba Satellite and it is greatly improved over Mandrake10 all the hardware works off the bat except the wireless card. I would recommend 10.1 I feel there is enough improvements to make it worth your while.
