Question back up files in mandrake

Is there a backup utility inside mandrake official 10.1 to back up your documents? I am not concerned with any issures of backing up the hard drive for windows concerns as this is a linux machine only.

Thanks up front for any help as I've been able to find nothing with google except backing up data before installing mandrake.

I don't think you need a special program for this. Backing up your (personal) data means backing up your home directory. Backing up your configuration files means backing up your etc dir.

you can use the "tar" command within linux. It's always good to know anyway.

or there is plenty of application out there.
