Post Apache cgi-bin default directories

Hi everybody,

I have a default installation of Mandrake 10, Apache is running fine, I can access the Apache welcome page on http://localhost so everything seems to be ok. I now want to run a Perl script (http://www.monster-submit.com/servercheck/) on my machine but I don't know where to put the script and how to start it using my default configuration. I have heard of httpd.conf but I haven't found where cgi-bin is configured. Can you help me?

I found the solution in the meantime. I added a cgi-bin directory in my public_html directory and set the Options +ExecCGI in httpd.conf.
