I have just joined the mandrake club. I am looking for the prism 2.5 drivers for the d-link dwl 520 wireless nic card. I did a search and found several types. some say mandrake linux cooker some say mandrake 9.2 contribs. The 1st question is how do I know which one I need? The second question is can I download this through windows xp onto a CD and then install it on Linux since I don't have a linux connection yet? I tried clicking on one of the rpm sources and then it brought up a list of mirror sites. Then I clicked on one of the United States and it said something about "Failed to change directory". I guess I need to learn how to download and then does mandrake automatically no where to install the driver or do I need to tell it where it goes?

You should first try the package from contrib. Cooker rpms should be tried as a last resort because Cooker is the "bleeding-edge" Mandrake and for testing purposes, not to be used for a stable system.
