www.linuxcd.org ship internationally. There is no postage and package charge - they charge only for the media. I ordered yesterday at 12:10am and have just received a mail saying my order has already dispatched and will be with me in 3-7 business days. :-)
What if I already downloded the entire Mandrake 10 file set off of the Mandrake Linux website. I tried to put all the files on a dvd and install it using the bootdisk, but I get an error saying that it cannot find an installation disk. How can I seperate the files to put on cd to install so that the installer recognizes the disks and being installation disks?
Actually you're right - the link is working at the moment so it's fine - but I am gonna wait for them to be delivered anyway now as I've paid for them :-)
According to the images it says official. i have downloaded them and verify their signatures and they seem to be working fine....
Can I legally download here for free? Im newto linux and dont want ot pay for something i may not use if i cant get on with or dont like. 10CE didnt work on my machine, so if this is an updated version would like to give it a try
......it looks legal.....you don;t have to pay for anything. I found that link in google....and if you keep going back to the main directory you'll see a page with links to other distributions. since this is NOT the powerpack version (for which you have to pay) I don;t see a reason for concern here....
