snd-cmipci - 6 speakers in kernel 2.6

Hello, I have Mandrake 10.1 Community Download and use the kernel kernel. I used to had Fefora Core 1 and Redhat 9, all of those with the 2.4 kernel. The module that I used was called cmpci, however the module that the kernel 2.6.x uses is caleld snd-cmpci.

When I try to configure it in order to enable the 6 speakers, I can't find the usual option Number of speakers while I reconfigure the kernel.

these are the options that I can configure in the kernel:
  • id
  • enable
  • mpu_port
  • fu_port
  • soft_ac3
  • joystick port

Can somebody tell me how do I enable the 6 speakers from Linux?
