an error while installing any program

when I install any program I have this message (...retrieving failed: aria2 failed: exited with 1) and then the program didnt work I tried this in skype and the codecs and the both didnt work

How did you get the errors? (what commands have you entered)

Any Program? more details please?

If it's from source, you need to be root to "install" (make install)

Any program I install throw the (install & remove software) and when I open this program it ask me for the root password so I am the root while install any program.
but when I play with the option I have changed the donwload program from aria2 to wget so it work for me.

OK, so this is all GUI land.

curl is another downloader that urpmi uses, as well as wget.

So, did you have success with wget?

I have not used aria2, as far as I know.
