I installed Mandriva 2009 powerpack and I cant use type Sinhala characters that require alt gr a (right alter key with a) which corresponds to al character in Sinhala language. It seems this doesn't work in gtk based apps like firefox, openoffice, evolution etc. But it works in Kwrite, Knotes and you can copy and paste text from these kde apps to the other apps (i.e firefox, openoffice, etc.) and the characters are displayed properly. Only the keyboard doesn't seem to work. Does anybody know why this is happening? 2008 spring worked perfectly. All apps like firefox, evolution, openoffice worked.
