I have install Linux mandrake on my computer but i have problem get it online my ADSL modem is AZtech . when i try to run the Linux driver for aztech modem it won't work saying that there is some file missing from the library so i install cross over emulator for Linux and it work so i install the windows version of the program on Linux agine i couldn't get it to work so i search the internet for a command or something i found this command for KDE Shell "Sudo pppeoconf" but the shell is saying that is no piping

Mandriva may be setting your address by dchp, when your modem may require a set, or range of, ip address.

To bring up the IP information, try, "ifconfig"

make sure lo is pingable, "ping 127.0.0.1 -c 4" (counts 4 pings and displays) .........back in a minute

if you type in "drakxconf" you can change the configuration
