Sorry for the late reply. You do not have the build files for building kernel modules, which suggests to me that you do not have the kernel sources installed. What does rpm -qa | grep kernel give?? For example i get:
[root@d44psx ~]# rpm -qa | grep kernel

If you do not have the kernel source installed, then do urpmi --fuzzy kernel-source. This will give a list of sources to install. The kernel you are running is also quite old (2.6.17-5), I would recommend updating this using URPMI.
