3d accel problem at Mandriva 2007.1

I've just installed Mandriva 2007.1 to my pc. and I installed the nvidia driver from nvidia.com to it. After configuring the xorg.conf, the driver was succesfully loaded. but I still cannot play 3d games. Why??

Do you get an output from glxinfo? or do you see the glxgears? What or which 3d games are you trying to run?

The GLX doesn't appear to be loading. If you don't have the Nvidia Settings icon in your menu list, open a console window and type: nvidia-settings this should bring up the nvidia control panel. Check the various sections (in particular the GLX info) in there. You might want to check the settings in your xorg.conf file as well.
