2009 or 2009.1 with xen (virtualization)

I see that both 2009 and 2009.1 have xen (v3.3.0) rpms built.

Has anybody tried these? I see a HowTo for installing xen on Mandriva, but it goes back to 2006, "long ago and far away".

If you have experience installing from the rpms, do you also have any level of RAID implemented, and how did that go? (When I upgraded to 2009, I was pleasantly surprised to see the install recognized the mirrors and handled them correctly!)

Any wisdom and guidance will be appreciated.

DS

My system:

XMD64 4-way Phenom processor
8GB RAM
2x250GB HDD mirrored (RAID0) in software
2 additional singleton 250 GB HDD.
Mandriva 2009 Powerpack
KDE 4.1

I have not used xen here, but Mandriva includes a xen documentation package (xen-doc) which should be of help. You can install the documentation without installing the xen software package(s). Included in the xen documentation are two .pdf documents (interface.pdf and user.pdf) located in /usr/share/doc/xen (also in /usr/share/doc/xen-doc).

xen-doc

Ernie...that was an excellent idea. I am doing so forthwith (now, THAT's a word).

I'll let you all know how things turn out, if anybody is interested.
