Trying to install Mandriva 10.1 on my computer, boot from CD is ok, welcome screen is ok, but then the computer freeze during the hardware autodetect (waited for well over 15min).
Went to the Mandriva hompage and read the installation instructions, this problem was mentioned and it was suggested to use "noauto" to skip the autodetect. Tried that, only problem is I only have access to USB keyboard and mouse right now, and they do not work without the autodetect...
I can think of two solutions, either finding out why the computer freezes, or getting the keyboard (at least) to work with the "noauto" option, problem is, I don't know how to do either
