Hello all, I dont know that this is a mandrake problem but i'll ask anyways. I have recently gone from RH 9.0 to mandrake 10.1

I still have a few RH 9 servers in my network. I do some database backups of some various devices on our network via FTP. I am able to use ProFTP on my mandrake host to ftp to and transfer files to normally but for some reason from this one device it will not FTP to the mandrake machine although it does to the RedHat host just fine. I removed ProFTP and went with the vsFTPd since that what the redhat machine uses and it still doesnt work. Other than that the ftp works fine from other hosts. Its a very strange problem.

What happens when you try to connect? What error do you get?

When i connect it just times out. I am able to from other linux hosts and it works fine.
