Question about orphaned packages.

Is it risky to remove the orphaned packages? Either way could I just leave them in place? Not sure how to remove them.

Thanks

what would you like to achive by removing them... i have plenty of "no longer requred" packages.. i don't think they make any damage besides occupying some space on disk.
