Can't Boot Mageia 2 after Upgrading from Mageia 1

Hi
Today I upgraded to Mageia 2 via the command line. I am now not able to boot Mageia 2. The login screen is illegible and gray in color with various bright lines at top and bottom. I'm also unable to boot in text mode. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I think it is a bit hard for anyone to answer your question.

Some information on your system would help. If you look in my sig you will see a discription of my hardware. That is really needed to deal with your issue particularly, I suspect, the video card.

Sounds to me like your OS is booting fine. You just can't read it.

What driver were you using in Mageia1?

Thank you for your reply widget. I resolved the problem by wiping the partitions, downloading Mageia 2 live CD .iso file, copied to CD and installed.

You should, in that case, mark this thread Solved. Only the OP can do that.

You will find the tool for that under Thread Tools at the top of the page.
