Thanks AXO. The code looks good. Is this happening to anyone else?

It would be cool to be able to pass a parameter to the PHP script to tell it how many items to return.

Just a thought.

Due to the amount of people syndicating LQ content I had to move to a system that uses caching, so this would unfortunately be tough to implement.

mimithebrain, I'm not getting any errors for backend.php and it validates fine with the couple validators I have checked. Can you clarify the error you are seeing? Thanks.

Red face mistake

sorry of my mistake
the bug is not from you
I shouldn't have this this comment being innexperienced in RSS.
Another newbie learning that konqueror does not display RSS pages.

When it comes to the error in the script, firefox does just fine running it.

As I am new to this RSS thingie, some questions:
I use firefox 0.9.1, but when I hit a RSS button, I always get the following displayed:
Quote:
This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
Do I need to install some software to be able to use RSS?

I installled Sage for firefox, which gives me the option to view RSS feeds in the side bar, but all I see there are my bookmarks.

I searched the forum, and got pointed to this thread but it didn't explain me much about how this is supposed to work.

Cheers, Leon.
