why no http://hcl.linuxquestions.org?

Hi! well, to quote the old song:
one of these things is not like the others, one of these things just doesn't belong, one of these things is not like the others, one of these things just- doesn't- belong (sesame street)

http://bookmarks.linuxquestions.org
http://radio.linuxquestions.org
http://jeremy.linuxquestions.org
http://wiki.linuxquestions.org
http://www.linuxquestions.org/hcl/

ok, so the forum is under www.linuxquestions.org/questions, the press stuff is under /press , answers are under /questions/answers etc.

seeing as hcl is a separate section of the site (like the radio, iso etc) then it should be like those. One thing that is really frustrating me is the lack of standardisation across the site- something that would help people find help on the site would be to have more standards.

this site is great, and I wouldn't want to do without it, but perhaps some rough edges need to be removed.

Good idea.

The examples you give are fundamentally different. LQ ISO, the LQ Wiki, my blog, LQ Radio, etc. are distinct sites that are all part of the LQ network. The HCL is part of LQ itself, just like the reviews section.

OH! ok. So radio isn't part of LQ itself? or, to draw an analogy, gmail isn't part of the google search feature, but is part of google (same with picassa, google earth etc)
Am I right or do I have the wrong end of the stick?

That analogy is similar, correct.
