Have you enabled private messaging in your profile? If not, edit your profile and enable PM.

Private messaging can be enabled after 150 posts, and LQ doesn't keep a track of "sent" mails, AFAIK.
Private messaging and mails are different things.

Okay, I had no idea that PM can be enabled only after certain number of posts. I dont use them much as well. So it could be a reason. Ajit has not made 150 posts yet and that could be why he is unable to see PM.

Your e-mail client. Mails are send to you by e-mail and PM's aren't (a notice of a new PM might be send by e-mail, depending on your set options).

Hope this helps.

Hi,

Did you have a look at your Edit Options -> Messaging & Notification section. Here you can tweak your settings to your liking.

Hope this helps.
