Where are my cookies?

I origionally logged onto the LQ website using my win98 laptop...now that u folks have helped...and i have my Mandrake 9.2 KDE computer working...when i log in using Konqueror i have to login each time...there seems to be no cookie...is there a way to have the cookie created on my linux box? I thought that when i log out the cookie would be written to the computer.... am I wrong?.... if so ...how do i get the cookie....

Thanks in Advance

Tom

Welcome to LQ.

In the past, you probably told Konquerer to reject all cookies from this site, and to remember that decision. To fix it, open Konquerer, go to Settings, go to Configure Konquerer, go to Cookies, go to Management, highlight the LQ entry, Delete All, then exit and come back to LQ. You will again be asked if you want to accept a cookie, answer Yes and be sure the "remember my choice" box is checked, and you're golden. -- J.W.

thanks for your help...Konqueror was set to only accept cookies from main server(or something like that)...i removed that...but still had problems...

when i logged out i got a message that said that all cookies were cleared..

Experimenting...i didn't logout at the end of my session...and when i came back...it auto-logged on....now i just don't log out...and everything works fine...

if i'm doing something wrong by not logging out...please tell me

Thanks
Tom
