We've got a Seti@HOME team, so how about a Folding@HOME team?

OK, I've just 'founded' an LQ Folding group for anyone that wants to join. It's called... LinuxQuestions.org (original, eh?) and is group # 12776. Of course, if Jeremy wants to take over the 'admin' (what little I can see there being), then drop me a line for the details.

The Folding clients can be found here:
http://folding.stanford.edu

Just thought I'd let you all know.

There should already be a "LinuxQuestions" team (although I think I might be the only member).

Dunno what's up, then. I just did a search for Linux... only 27 results, neither yours nor mine appear. Neither seem to come up with Quest as the search criteria. Hmmm...

Is there a Gkrellm plugin for that somewhere? I like my seti plugin, let's me know just how much work my computer does while I'm gone, I'd like to use something similar for this if it's available.

Cool

I'm attempting to write a plugin for GkrellM2 to monitor Folding@Home called Gkrellfah2. I need some help testing if anyone would like to help me out.

Also there's a link on the above webpage to a similar plugin that runs on GkrellM 1.2.x.

Ok so I am attempting to run the gkrellm 1.2 plugin, however I don't see any CPU activity. I assume this is because it runs idle. When I ran the seti client, I saw 99% cpu use ALL the time. Is there a way to have this run all the time as well?

Cool

Well, are you sure folding@home is running? Rather, are you excluding nice cpu time from your cpu monitor on GkrellM?

The 1.2.x plugin doesn't display the cpu usage on the krell.
