Just upgraded the kernel to 2.4.13, so let me know if you notice any problems.

I'm sure i read in the kernel howto in the reasos NOT to upgrade your kernel:

But seriously, I have been watching the CHANGELOG and upgrading as I see fit. Their have been quite a few VM issues and Reiser fixes, etc...

In fact I upgraded my kernel to 2.4.14 with the perfctr 2.3 patch (for using the event counters in the Pentium processors). So far no problem. Also, I installed over the JFS file sytem. I enjoy this bit!
