Turn [IMG] code on in blog comments

I recently found out that my blog does have permission to use image BBCode in the initial post. But when I go to use image tags in comments it reverts to links. Is there any way for Mods to turn image BBCode on for all members (at least for their own blogs)? Why is it even off here in the first place?

I like the fact that images are off by default... mods can't moderate everything. Potential for offensive and not-safe-for-work content to be uploaded and accidentally stumbled upon is easily avoided by not allowing images.

I know it's annoying, but providing the link to the image gives the reader the choice to view the image or not.

We have no plans to enable inline images in blog comments at this time. Thanks for the feedback.
