the linux distributions forum

Jeremy,

I see that you have added connectiva to the "distro forums" as well as LFS and Slack.

Are you going to add a mini forum for all of the varying distro's or do you intend the "distro forums" to be for the so called harder/exotic distro's? (or is this just a limited amount of space issue?)

Sorry if this question seems a little banal, but it's just now that I have a vague idea of how linux works - most of my questions tend to be mandrake specific.

regards

John

Well the one objective were trying to make with individual Distro forums is to have a actual maintainer from the distro. Like LFS, we have Mr Beekmans who is the actual creator of LFS. With Conectiva now, we have Rik van Riel and Tulio Munhoz who work for Conectiva and will be helping out. As for Slackware, there isn't a maintainer or official person from the distro but we apparently are somewhat an official forum as they have a direct link from Slackware to our Slack distro forum.
Basically the goal is to try and make each distro forum be sort of an official forum, with a representative from that distro to help out.

trickykid it correct. Any major distro that would like to have a member participate here is more than welcome to have a forum.
