Thank you for LQ, Jeremy!

I just wanted to thank you for LQ, Jeremy! I can't speak for anyone else and I don't know how you come up with LQ, but I don't think you get enough credit for LQ! So I would like to give you some and thank you again for LQ!

Second that!

I now depend upon LQ: more for opportunities to help than for answers I need. invaluable both ways!

I'm sure we all appreciate Jeremy's hard work. I came rather late to LQ; for some years my preferred hangout space was Linux Forums, a similar site to this one, but with a very strict rule against politics or religion. It had excellent moderators and was a very civilised place. Unfortunately the moderator team did not own the site, and those who did completely failed to appreciate what a treasure they were hosting. They allowed it to become infested with malware and bandwidth-hungry scripts until it became quite unusable. I hope very much that this site will be preserved from a similar fate.

LQ has been one of my go-to sources for Linux help since I started using Linux 12 years ago this coming April.

Jeremy has exercised his guidance and stewardship of LQ wisely. I am confident that he will continue to do so.
