I like the software for this forum used by you. I believe it is open source. If I want to start a forum in my country for insurance, can I get the complete software used by you to derive benefit of your expertise and experience in running this forum. Would be great to know the pre-requisites for using your software and if you can suggest someone in Delhi (India)who can give me idea of costs involved.
Please search the forum, this question has been asked and answered many many times. Much of it is customised and hacked about by Jeremy and David_Ross, so while you could get some of the functionality, other parts would need to be hand written by you or your programmers.
I have searched the forum, this uses vBulletin which is commercial application, customized by Jeremy and so on. If I purchase vBulletin, can I get the customized tools and features used for this website to derive benefit of expertise and experience in running this forum which supports open source so much.
When this forum started, phpBB wasn't there, there has been issues about its security in the past. As on date, how vBulletin compares with phpBB : whether security issues in phpBB are still there and when latest version Olympus (final one)is expected (Beta versional released in June 2006)?
Whether someone can suggest a programmer in Delhi (India)who can give me idea of costs involved to prepare fesability report.

No, although vBulletin and a number of addons are available for purchase, an awful lot of these forums have been coded from scratch from the ground up and cannot be found anywhere outside LQ.

You would be better looking for that answer on a dedicated forum admin's forum and checking the changelogs - they would have concise answers.
