Just curious, why is HTML off on sigs?

Actually, I had wanted to use the strikethrough code for a sig. But, since "I" am "going to spam you", I guess I won't worry about it. Curiosity isn't a crime-I understand the spamming thing, just don't make it sound like its my intention.

He used the royal "you", he wasn't pointing the finger at you specifically.

I dunno, you tell me. All I know is that I asked an innocent question and got a not so nice response. I try to keep my cool, maybe he's just had a bad day...

It was humour. The Royal We or You in this case, isn't used to point to a particular person.

He's not having a bad day.

I must admit I have never understood British humor. I spent some time in England, but never got the hang of it.

Allowing arbitrary HTML would be a security risk, so it's not something we have any plans to do.
