Question searching for 1 year?

This may have been mentioned in one thread or another, but I have noticed when searching old posts/threads started by me, they only date back to July. The thing is that if you have current searches limited to July. (It's Jan now as I write this.)

On the Search menu you can search for 'Names/UIDs' (and I suppose other stuff) for (Quote) "1 year" and more.(at least when your logged into LQ and not searching outside with Google) ... Anyway. notice the discrepancy?

I can search the 'archives' when I use Google on the outside. * I found one of my msgs by remembering what specific terms I had used in a message from last May (and found in it the first and only 'hit'.. haha)

Anyway... my suggestion is to make 'the search' search for at least 1 year back instead of 6-7 or so months...

Thanks!

Brady (bc)

You can find all your posts by clicking the search button in any of your posts or using the link is your UserCP. The normal search is limited not by time, but by number of results returned.

Thanks Jeremy.

I was able to see ALL of my posts by clicking on search under a current post. Thanks for the info.. I guess there were too many posts for the other one and it cut off in July...
