google is very carefull about the meta tag but also with the title of the page
so i think to update title of the page with the thread visited will help the search directly done on google
for example i have done some polls page and the title is affected by the subject of the poll
so if you search
votre fleur preferee in the french page

you will find my poll page

The title of a thread page is the subject of the thread - and has been for years

I always get more or less relevant LQ threads when I search for Linux problems on Google. That's how I found the site in the first place. I really don't think it's an issue.
