scanning for replies to replies

Without subscribing to a thread, is there any easy way to see who has replied to a reply (posted by me)?

Specifically, when I post a reply in a thread--eg asking the OP for more data-- I'd like a quick way to see if there has been any follow-up.

You could subscribe to the thread, that way you get an email whenever there's a reply. Once you think it's done, you can unsubscribe from it.

Replies to my replies: This is more track-able on old-school threaded (stair step) thread styles. But if someone replies later to the thread you've posted in (and by default subscribed to) you should get an email letting you know that. Whether they are answering your "sub-question" (a call to clarification perhaps) or something else, there is no easy way to tell.
