Report Button Placement

I'm going to have to say I would be surprised if this was not posted yet. I've used many forums, but maybe this is like a thing where people drive on the left side of the road in some countries. The "Report" button is totally on the side where I would normally hit "Quote", or "Edit", or "Save". Every time I hover over the "Report", and I just feel strange.

Just wondered what others thoughts were, and if anything its only a suggestion. Not a complaint.

I've accidently hit report a couple of times, but always realized my error and been able to back out of it before doing any damage.

It might be a nice-to-have to move it to the bottom left, for instance, but in my own opinion it's not a need-to-have.

In the newer vBulletin there is a "/!\" button in the extreme left of the post footer. Seeing as LQ intends to switch to the newer version, this annoyance should be resolved.

The placement of the Report button has been discussed a number of times and it has also moved around previously (see the threads listed at the bottom of the page). I doubt we will ever get that happy medium where it will be "perfectly placed", but the eventual upgrade may fix issues with it.
