posts counter increments on member_intro forum

hello. i just posted something on the "member intro" forum and saw my posts counter incremented. i think i remember reading somewhere that the counter does not increment for posts on

. shouldn't the behavior be the same for

Non-*NIX Forums > General > LinuxQuestions.org Member Intro

?. while we're on the topic, maybe it also shouldn't increment for

LQ Suggestions & Feedback

. the reason is that the number of posts is one measure of a member's expertise with linux, and so forums such as feedback and intro do not count.

Thanks for the feedback. Keep in mind that post count should not be considered a "measure of a member's expertise with Linux". With that in mind, it is a cognizant decision that LQS&F and Member Intro posts count toward your post count.
