password recovery link not functioning

i just had to reregister with a different username. the recovery link says it sent a link to my hotmail account. when i click on the link that says "When you visit that page, your password will be reset, and the new password will
be emailed to you." i do so and just ened up at a login page and no password is emailed to me.

either the link isnt working right or im missing something and how to make it work.

thanks

I just tested it and it works for me. I do not use hotmail.

Did you check to see if it might be filtered by hotmail?

You might also try removing the LQ cookies. And try a different browser.

Please report the details if you find any more info.

well, i changed some settings in hotmail and still no luck with my original username. the system starts to send to hotmail and then says my addy is not a valid email address.

i had also tried clearing cookies the last time i tried to get a new password.

the link does work with my local isp email address however. it must be something with hotmails settings.

at this point i guess ill just stick with my new username.

thanks

Can someone else who uses hotmail confirm this? Thanks.
