Paging links in "View New Posts"

Hi Jeremy!

Sometimes when I click on the Link View New Posts, there are no paging links. For example, when I got online today, there where more than 600 new posts since my last visit, when I clicked the new posts link there was only one page with 12 results. Is this a little bug or something? But the most of time it works.

Regards, Boby!

posts != threads. perhaps there had been lots of posts in one or two threads- so therefore less results?

I have never seen anything wierd with this function.

Yes, but if someone writes a post to a thread, it appears as a new one and get's on top of the others. Every time you visit the page, you can view the latest post and threads, that means the posts that have been written since your last visit.
Maybe I can't express myself good enough because of my english.
Hope you undestand.

I think it is more likely similar to this:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=330269

If the system thinks you have logged out for some reason then the new posts will only be shown from that point on.
