New Titles?

It has been brought to my attention that there may be some interest in some addition titles once you reach 1000 posts. The current options are 'LQ Addict' and 'Guru'. I would be willing to add maybe one or two more, but I'll need to really like the suggestion. If you have a suggestion please post it in the thread. Thanks.

Maybe an idea :
Make this choice only available to contributing members?
The others (like me) will have to settle for the default.

That said : "Mad Posting-Machine" an option?

I think if a member has options to choose and they don't consider themself an LQ Addict or Guru, maybe even just give them the option to call themself a 'Senior Member' for having 1k or more posts and most likely being around LQ for a substantial amount of time, etc.

Will this only be added to the list for 1000, or are you looking at adding one for something like 5k or 10k? I believe this distinction will surely drive the replies in a certain direction

Cool

I was still thinking maybe a middle spot for 500, like:

Senior Member
Dedicated Member
or...
Addicted Member

2500, maybe just 2k...

High Guru
LQ Burroughsian Addict
Verbose Guru
LQ Master

I dunno, there really isn't a title theme right now... so who knows.

5k... which I haven't even gotten to, but someone will; fancypiper only has 800-ish to go:

LQ Post Fiend
Prince of Post
King Geek

Maybe one of the ideas for 2k will fit better there... dunno

10k!!!

He/She who knows.
Postmaster
King/Queen of the Post.

I still think whoever has the big integer, regardless of their Mod status should be the "Lord Master of the Post" , but I guess that joke is getting old. Eventually Tricky will get a job where he actually has to work at work and Kewp will take the crown back, maybe MasterC.

Cheers,

Finegan

As I get settled more, I find more and more time to post. I'll likely never be back to the 16+ hours a day I was at, however, I am sure I could give Drew and Chris a run for their money again Just kidding guys, just kidding

10k is a possibility, but I was looking for additional 1k titles as people have said that neither of the current two fit them. I don't really see a need for any of the other intermediary ones.
