New posts icon
Can you change the colour of the new posts icon as it is the same colour as the no new posts icon and it confuses me:p

BUMP
Good to know you listen to me:cry: |
I don't see the problem with the new posts icon. I usually go by the gray square with yellow arrow to distinguish new posts from other older posts. So its not that Jeremy doesn't listen to you, I believe this is not a priority since your the only one that has ever asked for this to be changed.
I'm sure Jeremy will have an answer, he's been very busy. |
JesseJames,
I am not sure what you are asking for. The icon for threads with new posts is different both on the main forum page and the individual forum pages. Can you clarify? Thanks. --jeremy |
I am meaning the icons in the forums. The new posts icon is the same colour as the no new posts icon whereas in other forums it is another colour, such as yellow.

I see the little grey boxes but I instinctively look at the envelopes.
|
Going by the envelope's, I can tell the difference with no problems as one's that are new have a sort of white letter coming out of them and the others are closed..
Hmm.. I really don't see any reason to change the colors of these since especially since there is also the icon with the yellow arrow to also identify that its a new post or a new post has been added to the existing thread. |
I dont see how this can be confusing? Closed grayish envelope for read/old posts and open grayish with a yellowish letter in it for new. If you are skimming or looking quickly just pay attention to the letter because that means its new.

But I look at the pritty colours. Cant it be yellow like on linux newbie or better yet, why dont you create multiple themes so the current style could be the default theme and then there could be other themes users could select such as: star trek, space, matrix, etc.

aren't there slightly more important things in the world to be so concerned about? forget about it, it's fine...
